Dressing like sisters

It's impossible to get all 3 to pose, especially since Charlotte doesn't sit up yet, but I try...

Thanks again for the cute shirts, Tia!

Morning at Gigi's

We went to Gigi's house this morning to visit and have lunch with her and Homer...I love having family close!

Trick or Treat

Grace wanted to be Cinderella this year, Madeline was Wonder Woman, and Charlotte was a hot dog for her first Halloween. Grace was really excited to trick-or-treat, but had a little stage fright as each door opened (she got over it as the candy went into her bag). Madeline, on the other hand, kept walking into our neighbor's homes. We also had a hard time keeping the candy out of her mouth, including the wrappers. Charlotte chose to quit the stroller ride in her costume and go for a nap in my sling instead. It was fun to see all the families our with their children, and Grace kept calling out to the other princesses she saw...and felt pretty good when they called back to Cinderella. We finished our trick-or-treating and attempted dinner (Cincinnati chili, a family tradition), went through the loot, and gave candy to the older trick-or-treaters that came by.

Happy Halloween

Halloween is so much fun as the girls begin to participate. We carved pumpkins, ate mummy dogs, and got ready for trick-or-treating!

Party all night

Last night was the first that I needed to get up for ALL 3 girls. Grace has a cough that kept her (us) up....and her main concern she told Sam at 11:30: "Halloween is 2 days away and I will be sicker to trick-or-treat!" Charlotte has lately been eating just once through the night, but must be wanting her extra antibodies to avoid being sick, so she got up several times. And Madeline seemed to have no particular reason to be awake and a loud-talker for over an hour except that she wanted in on the party.
Thankfully they all slept in this morning. Grace was so proud that she took me into her bedroom to show me that it was light outside of her window.

Girls will be girls

Last night Madeline (not quite 18 months) got the Tonka truck we gave her out of the toy box in the living room and took it into her room. She returned several minutes later with it wrapped in a blanket and in a Moses basket.
